Why did you decide to create an Instagram account?
Pickles is our first dog and the amount of photos we take of him is crazy. Having a Instagram for him is our way of keeping track of him growing and all the cute things he does and also keeping our friends and everyone who loves Pickles up to date with all the fun things he gets up to.
What sort of content do you share?
Day to Day things, from him sleeping which is always in a weird spot to tricks and out and about adventures to different dog parks and beaches.
A lot of him just laying around being a cute pug too.
What sort of posts are the most popular?
It really depends but I think the ones do the best are the ones of us with him out and about but also one of him as a puppy sleeping has done the best so far.
I think everyone loves a puppy and a sleeping one is the best.
Where are your followers from?
Followers from all over the world, lots of other pugs and people who love pugs and dogs, I feel seeing a dog always makes your day better.
How do you promote the account?
We haven’t yet, we just post and add a few hash tags in, we have had a few brands reach out and given Pickles some treats which is super fun and exciting.
What are the best things about running your Instagram account?
Getting to share Pickles with everyone, hes a really special boy who loves people and other dogs and always loves a play.
Also it’s a nice diary for us to look back on and remember things we have done.
Are there any challenges?
Not really, it’s just fun and I try to post a few stories every few day and a grid post or reel once a week, I don’t want the content to look to same same.
What are your goals for the Instagram account?
No real goal with it just keep posting Pickles growing and his adventures and hopefully more people follow and seeing Pickles makes their day a little better.
