What breed is your dog, what’s their name, and how old are they?
Priscilla is a 1.5-year-old Brussels Griffon, also known as a Petit Brabançon.
Why did you decide to create an Instagram account?
I created Priscilla’s account to share the joy she brings me with others. She’s incredibly quirky and smart, and she’s been such an amazing muse. The account has given me a creative outlet and has helped us bond even more.
What kind of content do you share?
We share Priscilla’s adventures through life, her humorous personality, and her glamorous wardrobe. She’s always on the go with me, so you never know where she’ll pop up next.
Which posts perform the best, and why do you think that is?
Priscilla’s most popular posts are when she’s exploring a new environment while wearing a chic outfit. People love seeing what she’ll wear to each event and outing.
Where are your followers from?
Most of our followers are based in Nashville, TN, and New York, NY, but we’ve made connections all over the world. We do a “Priscilla’s Snail Mail” project where we send stickers and postcards, with mail going out to places like Canada, Sweden, and Australia.
How do you promote the account?
We promote Priscilla’s account through in-person interactions, anytime someone stops to say hi, we usually tell them about her Instagram. We also love building genuine connections on social media. The people behind pet accounts are truly some of the best humans.
What do you love most about running the account?
The connections we’ve made are by far the best part. Seeing Priscilla bring joy to someone’s day is incredibly rewarding, and sharing her outfits has helped us bond while learning more about her breed and dogs in general.
Are there any challenges?
Keeping up with fresh, original content can sometimes feel stressful, but Priscilla’s biggest challenge is keeping her closet organized!
What are your goals for the account?
We hope to continue showcasing Priscilla’s ever-evolving style and signature grumpy face. I’d love to see the account grow so even more people can experience the fun and funky diva that is Priscilla.
